"Many of you remember Michael Swearingen (picture from his missions trip to Mexico '06) who will be a Senior at Mariner High. (His mom taught here and he is Miss Joyce's grandson) Well, Michael's mom just called to tell us that Michael had his 18 month check up from his cancer and he is doing great AND he is starting on the Varsity football team tonight! How AWESOME is That?! He has come a long way!! He is also Student Government Vice President and such a great Godly example and a testimony to His power and love! You guys have a great day and offer up some praise today for our God who takes care of us!!"
