8th Graders Given Bibles

Our 8th grade had the honor of receiving a pocket New Testament from Gideons International.

"The Gideons International is an interdenominational association of Christian business and professional men who are members of Protestant/evangelical churches. Our members are dedicated to saving the lost through personal witnessing and the distribution of God's Word in more than 190 countries around the world...Bibles and New Testaments are personally distributed by members of The Gideons International to these groups: Students in the 5th grade and above; prisoners and police, fire, medical and military personnel; anyone else Gideons witness to individually; God's Word is placed in key locations, including: Hotels and motels; hospitals, convalescent homes, medical offices and domestic violence shelters; prisons and jails." (from their website http://www.gideons.org/)

Many thanks to Mr. Jack Allen for setting this up for us. A testimony was given and a time of prayer, as well as passing out the bibles.

Grandparent's Day 2011

Well over 200 grandparents were our special guests today for our annual Grandparent's day event. It is one of the best events of the year and we enjoy having them all on our campus. Mrs. Yorty and the children did a great job singing today. Big thanks to ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEERS - we had a great turnout today! We want to thank all of our teachers, aides, staff, Pastor Betzer, NJHS, maintenance, sound and video teams - A REAL TEAM EFFORT! I am very proud of Sissy Felice, Janice Zarick and Paula Dillon for putting together a great day for all that attended.

7th Grade - "We Are The World"

Mrs. Mitchell's seventh grade class had a big day today celebrating countries from around the world. Students dressed out for their country, brought in food from their country, decorated a project board and had several other responsibilities as they shared information from the country in front of their class, teacher, and parents. GREAT JOB!
