Another great program is the partnership with PK3 and 4th grade - math pals program. Today they went on a scavenger hunt that involved identifying shapes, collecting candy and a special worksheet.

Reading Buddies at Christmas Time



I know I have posted this before, but this is still one of the best activties to visit at FMCS: the reading buddies program with 5th grade and PK4. On Wednesday, the 5th graders came down for a special Christmas reading time - they brought a favorite book, a game with Jesus and the manger, and a special treat to share. Thank you to Mrs. Couch and Miss Schreiber!

"...My true love game to me,1 minute of sit-ups????" Only in Miss Issenmann's creative physical education classes as we lead up to Christmas! A seasonal way to stay fit:

Miss Izzy’s Twelve Days of Christmas

On the first day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 1 minute of sit-ups
On the second day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 2 minutes of jumping jacks
On the third day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 3 minutes of running
On the fourth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 4 minutes of freeze dance
On the fifth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 5 minutes of stretching
On the sixth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 6 leaps
On the seventh day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 7 push-ups
On the eighth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 8 line jumps
On the ninth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 9 crab push-ups
On the tenth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 10 lunges
On the eleventh day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 11 wall squats
On twelfth day of fitness Miss Izzy gave to me 12 heel lifts

Missionaries Honored in Middle School

The top two winners in each grade division will now advance to the Edison Regional Science Fair, January 29-30th at Harborside Convention Center.

FMCS Middle School Science Fair

Second Grade Mission 25:40





The second grade was a blessing to the seniors at the Senior Frienship Center in Ft. Myers on Tuesday! What a difference they can make in the lives of those that can be lonely or forgotten at Christmas.

Parent University Christmas Store



The Christmas Store is in full swing! Come by room 216 in the Children's Center. Many thanks to all the parent volunteers, Mrs. Greene, and Mrs. Stockman (room 218 - free gift wrapping) The Chriistmas store gives our kids a chance to shop for their family.

College Volleyball
FGCU's Holly Youngquist (Class of 2003) tries for a dig against Campbell in the first round of the Atlantic Sun Volleyball Championships on Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Alico Arena.


Ciara Brown signs with Virginia Commonwealth
On Thursday, Bishop Verot senior Ciara Brown (class of 2006) signed a letter-of-intent to play Division 1 volleyball at Virginia Commonwealth University. Brown, a setter for the Vikings, is the FACA District 16-3A Player of the Year with over 715 assists in the 2009 season.

Christmas Shoeboxes - Mission 25:40



Mr. Mitchell and our NJHS representatives delivered 190 CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES to the drop off station in Cape Coral! Thank you for your participation and pray for them as they "go into all the world" to reach the children for Jesus.
