Student's Artwork Will Be Showcased in the Community

From Mrs. Sinex, Art Teacher at FMCS - Three of our students won prizes at the CREW (Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed) Wildflower contest. First place was Parker Wunderlich, Third Place was Tyler Goguen and Honorable Mention was Kelsi Bevington. They will be awarded their prizes on Saturday, March 28th, during the wildflower festival!

CREW is a 60,000-acre watershed spanning Lee and Collier Counties. CREW's majestic 5,000 acre marsh is the headwater for the entire watershed which includes the famous Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary directly to the south. The contest was open to all 3rd – 12th grade public, private, and home-schooled students and college students in Charlotte, Lee, Hendry and Collier Counties.

Winning entries will be published on the CREW Trust website, displayed at our annual wildflower festival, and displayed at the Sugden Welcome Center at Florida Gulf Coast University for 1 year.
