I am very proud of our 6th grade students, parents, and teachers -John Ryba, Jeri Danley and Julie Issenmann - for raising funds to support the American Heart Association with their missions project. Events included special dress down days, a benefit basketball game between the 6th grade and faculty, a bake sale at the game, and a pie-in-the-face halftime special event. Over the last couple of weeks, jars for the 3 teachers mentioned were positioned .JPG)
in both school offices for people to donate a dollar to see who would get a pie-in-the-face at halftime. Miss Julie Issenmann was the winner of the pie! The kids defeated the faculty in front of a great crowd after school on April 1st. Overall, over $500 was raised to support the American Heart Association!
