Last semester, my 7th grade bible class watched a video clip produced by the
Dare To Be A Daniel bible curriculum - an interview with former
Seattle Seahawk running back, Shaun Alexander. He gave his testimony and talked about the importance of accountability as Christians. On Wednesdays in our 7th grade class as our Barnabas ministry, we watch the clip, pray for that person and write a letter to encourage them in their faith.
Today we received a special box containing a message from Mr. Alexander to the class and a
personally autographed copy of his book to each of the students who wrote the letter!
Psalm 37:4 (New International Version) - "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."
