Class of 2012
First, congratulations FMCS graduate, Katie Leigh - featured in today's Newspress along with 22 other high school seniors. Katie (pictured below, second to the right) is the valedictorian at Southwest Florida Christian Academy.

Just Run!
"Just Run" was the name of our Spring Concert program tonight that included our K-5 students and the middle school ensemble. We are very proud of the job that our students did tonight under the leadership of Mrs. Benjamin.

Girls Going Places
Eighth graders Chastity Roark, Tori Weller and Sarah Sweirsz participated in the annual Girls Going Places event in Fort Myers.
The Girls Going Places® Program was created and piloted in Southwest Florida in 1999 to educate young women about the financial and entrepreneurial opportunities available to them. Girls Going Places® Entrepreneurship Conferences are designed to encourage financial literacy and educate teen girls about starting businesses; managing personal. Track Meet
Saturday was also a day for our annual intramural track meet here at FMCS. The school would like to thank Nadine Harriott and all of her volunteers who inspired and encouraged all of those runners and jumpers to practice after school and compete in the track meet!

FMCS students from past and present were involved in the Assemblies of God Youth Fine Arts competition this past weekend in Ormond Beach, Florida. Students were involved in many of the fine arts/ministry/talent areas: from singing, human videos, to story writing, photography, short sermons - and so much more. Thank you for helping us make our coin drive a success. First, thanks to Terri Waite and all the parent volunteers. We raised $1400 last week!
The winning class pizza parties go to:
1st place mid school - Crouch - $344.60
1st place elementary - Sanders - $363.41
Here are the classes that hit $100 and will have their class pictures displayed at the golf tournament Saturday:
1st grade: Shell
2nd grade: Jennings
4th grade: Sanders
6th grade: Leatherman
8A: Crouch
