Butterfly Garden
Today. Becky Bentley, from our home church: First Assembly, came to our hands-on science elective class to help us re-establish Matthew’s Garden located near the middle school building. She is supplying all of the plants and is teaching the kids about butterflies. We have 4 chrysalis and 1 caterpillar. Next week we are going to plant some host plants. Here are a few pics for you:

Parent University Christmas Store
Every year our Parent University team provides an opportunity for students to shop for their parents and family! MANY thanks to chairpersons, Sabrina Greene and Addy Tansacha, and an army of great volunteers in the store and wrapping areas! Good report - no one used pepper spray to gain an unfair shopping advantage! (Black Friday current event reference)

Presidential Dress Up
The eighth grade class had a presidential dress up day. Mrs. Mitchell had gave them the option to either dress up to represent something about the person, or carry an object that represented the person.
Our two "best dressed" are Herbert Hoover (Gabby Duenas, left) representing the coal miner portion of his life; and dressed in military clothes is President (General) Dwight D Eisenhower (Riley McAtee)!

Mission 25:40 Red Day
Thank you both for coordinating the Wednesday, November 9, 2011 blood drive. We were very pleased with the drive overall, and the willingness of the donors to share this life saving gift.
The efforts of Ft. Myers Christian School have always been greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.
In addition, we very much appreciate your efforts during this crucial time. You may be interested to know 30 registered and 27 units were collected at your drive.
Again, thank you for your contribution and ongoing support of this important community program. I look forward to working with you again.
Thank you for being LOCAL HEROES!
I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season!
Warmest Regards,
Denise A. Stiles

FMCS Student - Gymnastic Honors
FMCS is proud of 4th grader, McKenzie Miller! She has qualified for training camp at the National Olympic Training Center in Houston. Many gymnasts across the country tested for this camp (2500 this year) and she is one of the 125 that made the cut. We are very proud of her accomplishment! Pray for her as she competes the week of December 4th.
